The Marlborough Chesterfield Sofa is our beautiful intepretation of English Chesterfield Furniture. Known for its curves, buttoned seat and proportions; it is a cut above the rest. Exquisite in fabric or leather
This is from the hollywood set of Dinner At Eight (1933) (Jean Harlow) This is called the "White Telephone Look"
"WHITE TELEPHONE LOOK" / "BIG WHITE SET (BWS)"
Hollywood that turned the Art Deco style into an international sensation with the - white telephone look - of MGM art director Cedric Gibbons, the geometric designs of Busby Berkeley's musicals and the streamlined gloss of such Fred Astaire/Ginger Rogers musicals as Flying Down to Rio (1933) and Swing Time (1936). With newly developed incandescent lighting allowing true whites to be captured on film, Gibbons' "big white set" (BWS) became one of his signature Deco designs. For Dinner at Eight (1933), his all-white look reached a dazzling peak with white-haired, white-skinned, white-gowned Jean Harlow photographed through white gauze on sets that incorporated 11 different shades of white! Dominant color being white.
Closet Inspired by Joan Crawford's closet in Mommie Dearest
Faye Dunaway as Joan Crawford in the film "Mommie Dearest" (1981) Love the satin lounger!
Ginger Rogers. This looks like an entrance. Got to love it!
Marilyn Monroe at home. This just looks comfortable...
Joan Crawford's home. Marble Fireplace Mantle.
Ginger Rogers. The chest and dresser...I would use them to store makeup, hair products, etc...
Jayne Mansfield. Love the drapings and always wanted a round mattress.
Look at this beautiful headboard! (Jean Harlow)

Of course I just love Dorothy, but this linen is so luxurious and beautiful. Love this bronze gold satin bedspread...have to find some close to this on the net. The large diamond pattern, I have not found anything similar to, but the color and material yes.
and I like the headboard too...
This is Dorothy's living room. Our styles are so similar...
